A private, non-profit day school for children with special developmental needs. The Center provides educational, health care, and therapeutic services to children who have vision or hearing problems, mental retardation or physical disabilities.

Furnishes emergency assistance to victims of physical, sexual and emotional abuse, including a women's shelter.

150 volunteers deliver over 30,000 hot, nutritious meals a year to the disabled and elderly home bound.

Teach adults how to read or to read better, help people who do not speak or read English as their first language, and furnish trained tutors to assist in GED classrooms at SCC and in the Moore County Schools.

Well known for its work in disaster relief, the Red Cross also offers training in First Aid, CPR, safety and swimming as well as aid to military families.

Annual Health Fair provides developmental screenings for children from birth through four years.

Provides the indigent with emergency needs including food, fuel, and medical care. Also offers educational grants for vocational training.
