"Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better... it's not." This is one of my favorite quotes and I'd like to share it with you, because it is certainly true that unless we extend a hand to make our community a great community, it is not going to happen.

I believe that ours is a progressive community with a lot to offer individuals and families who choose to live here. Because it is important to us, our community is a safe place to raise our children and nourish our families. We come to the aid of those in need whether it is a time of crisis, or a time when someone needs just a little help with day to day living. We embrace our neighbors and through our contributions to the United Way, we ensure that any of us is afforded the opportunity to live, work and play in a healthy community.

Thank you for making a visible difference in our community. Because of your investment, our local towns and communities continue to flourish. We truly appreciate your commitment to the youth of this community, to providing basic needs for many, to strengthening families, and to promoting good health and self-sufficiency for those around you.
